What is DUST? Hmmm…this site dynamically presents visuals of schools' data, like ratio of teachers to students, racial mix, etc. I wish LACES was on it as I could see factual data on racial mix so I can determine what my mixed son's race should be if we were to apply. Many other schools are represented, so take a look. (And while we're at it, what is "iridescent"? Also interesting.)



DUST's goal is to create…"information visualization tool that will help urban education providers, policy makers, charter schools, funding agencies, social scientists and education researchers make more datadriven decisions about which schools to support based on the school's need, commitment and past record of managing resources.
