City School
City School is a fully independent, start-up charter with its inaugural school year this beginning August 2012 with grades 6 and 7. It will add an additional grade each year until it reaches grades 6-12. Its mission values "educational excellence, diversity, and community." What is DUST? Hmmm…this site dynamically presents visuals of schools' data, like ratio of teachers to students, racial mix, etc. I wish LACES was on it as I could see factual data on racial mix so I can determine what my mixed son's race should be if we were to apply. Many other schools are represented, so take a look. (And while we're at it, what is "iridescent"? Also interesting.)
