Someone want to explain the magnet and charter schools within Paul Revere?

     "2013-2014 6TH GRADE LOTTERY RESULTS." Only last names are listed so you
     may need the last 4 digits of the computer IP address from which the application 
     was sent (check your receipt that you were prompted to print upon submission).
March 15, 2013  Acceptance letters mailed
March 1-May 3, 2013  Send in Enrollment packets (residents & siblings)
April 15-May 3, 2013  Send in Enrollment packets (Lottery & Wait List)
May 3, 2013 at 11:45am  Deadline to declare acceptance of enrollment
Office hours for enrollment are M-F, 8:30am-11:45am and 1:15-2:30pm

  2. Just went to Community Magnet for their Middle School tour. Paul Revere changed their Dec. schedule. Tours will be @ 8:30 on 12/3 and 12/10.

  3. Apparently, the big difference between the charter & magnet at Revere is the transportation. This only is offered to magnet students. From what I have heard, there is a huge carpooling community there. I will probably apply to this school as a charter on the advice of the magnet coordinator. They test all the kids for ability after they have been accepted (magnet & charter). Then they are placed in gifted classes if they qualify.

  4. You can submit to both their Magnet and a Charter programs. The CHOICES brochure application is for the Magnet and you may download the Charter application from their website.

    Charter applications may be submitted anytime from Dec. 1, 2010 through Feb. 1, 2011. You do not need to submit early or first. It must be delivered in person to the office and you'll receive a receipt. Selection is by lottery. There is no provided transportation for the charter program, only for magnet.
